.@CounterStrike’s community is just insane. Over the last 25 years, we’ve always been the “unwanted” child of @valvesoftware. Valve’s latest release, Deadlock, fully proves this point. “The shooter with TERRORISTS & CTs” isn’t a marketing cash cow for companies. Governments, brands, and even our parents are still looking at our beloved game with disgust in 2024. “CS could harm our image… they’re shooting with guns… kids will become terrorists for sure…” I think we can all agree that we’ve heard it all before. That’s probably why Valve itself doesn’t put that much effort into Counter-Strike anymore. “On paper,” it just shoudln't work in 2024. But hell yeah, it still works. If we look at every other title, we probably have by far the best esports circuit out there. The game itself has been updated and maintained almost entirely by the community over the last 25 years. Leagues, tournaments, maps, game modes, skins—nearly 99% of the custom content in the game is hand-built out of pure love for it. Just look at what the community has created. We’re pulling the best numbers on Twitch, with hundreds of tournaments happening simultaneously every day. The community has made the impossible possible: keeping a game alive and relevant, even without major updates. ESL, BLAST… these are now esports empires. When I look back at what we’ve achieved by believing in our dreams since CS’s release, I couldn’t be prouder. Beyond the core structure of cs: We, as the community, built this game. We overcame being the unwanted child. We made our own history and shaped our destiny. And honestly, I think this is just the beginning. And if you care, @valvesoftware, get your ass back to work and take a lesson from what this community has done for you.

@AmyTeamLH @PokemonGoApp Honestly, Max Battles are another good option to gain good IV Pokemon. Its sad that you can only gain 800 particles a day, but looking at it in comparison to raids, you can do more than one for free each day. I think its a great feature.

Some reasonable ideas for remote raids every day 💡 A daily remote raid limit of 20 instead of 5, and reduced back to the old prices. A far more reasonable limit in my opinion, helps for hosting raid hours, and offers more flexibility to do other random raids other than tier 5s. The prices being doubled from what they used to be means a lot of people simply don’t even do their 5 remote raids every day. The daily limit is one thing, but the doubled prices are another. Both are problematic, but I would argue the price increase is more problematic for most people. Older prices were far more reasonable, and I’m a firm believer in trying to make things more accessible, cheaper and easier for people. A free daily remote raid pass. Getting a free in person raid pass everyday is nice, but the reality is a lot of people don’t any raids in person for a variety of reasons. Having one free, daily remote raid pass would give every single player an opportunity to do a legendary raid each day, which is so helpful for rural communities in particular. Lastly, when inviting people to a raid, blank out people who have hit their daily raid limit. It makes no sense why we’re still able to invite people to our raids who can’t join and see the invite because they’ve hit their limit. It’s a waste of time. Feel free to retweet this if you like the ideas, and leave any suggestions below on what you think would improve remote raids moving forward on a daily basis. Egal wieviel Kohle ich habe, ich werde niemals meine Knicker Knauser Attitüde heraus bekommen. Ich habe bis vor kurzen noch mit meiner komplette Hardware von 2011 gestreamed, bis die vor kurzem auseinandergekracht ist und ich notgedrungen neue stuff kaufen musste. Selbst bei der jetzigen Hardware habe ich mir nix überkrass teures zugelegt. Meinen PC habe ich mir vor 4 Jahren geholt und die CPU ist leider nicht für mein main game CS ausgelegt und habe jetz teils FPS drops die auf die 60 gehen. Bin ich auch hier wieder gezwungen endlich mal die Hardware zu upgraden. Ich hasse es. Sogar mein verficktes Smartphone würde ich 20 Jahre rocken, wenn nicht der Akku irgendwann down gehen würde oder der Bildschirm mal wieder den Geist aufgibt. Selbe für mein Auto oder sonstige Sachen. Ich werde niemals verstehen können, wie sich Leute teils allday neue Sachen holen, sich teils dafür sogar verschulden oder sonstiges. Du kannst mir eine Milliarden auf den table knallen -> ich gebe für gewisse Dinge ungerne Geld aus, wenn sie noch gehen. Gleichermaßen gebe ich sehr gerne viel Geld aus für Dinge in die ich wertsteigernd investieren kann um mehr Geld zu machen, dass ich sowieso nicht ausgebe. Bei CS Skins habe ich keine Probleme 100k auf den Tresen zu flanken mit dem Wissen daraus werden 200k mit denen ich wiederum investe, aber mir nix gönne xD Fühlt man das oder bin ich ein weirdo kek?
