Jugger division one preview Galway - I’d fear for galway tbh. Missing a lot of players through niggles early on and have a very tough opening 3 fixtures. Maher, mc daid, Shane Walsh, damo comer and Conroy all carry injuries and will miss opening rounds. No magic Thompson this league campaign either to go along with tomo, Cathal Sweeney, Peter Cooke and Johnny Heaney. If they lose to mayo, it’s not looking good, with Kerry and Donegal to follow in GW 2&3. Div one is very hard to turn around a slow start. Armagh - solid foundations have been built over the last 5 years. Squad is strong. The obvious elephant in the room is that Rian O Neill won’t be playing and is a massive miss but they’ll have more than enough to stay up. Will want points on the board early right enough with an eye on resting lads the last game week as Tyrone await in the Ulster pre lim game a week after the league finish’s. Mayo - very hard to put a gauge on mayo, seasoned outfit and they know how to navigate the league. Should have more than enough to stay up and will hope to be involved at the higher end going into the final week of games. Donegal - will continue where they left off last year. I expect them to be in a league final, unlike last year, they will actually be trying to achieve that goal as championship fixtures allow for a proper run at the league. Monaghan - Building a very strong side and going under the radar. Pace all over the pitch and a good blend from an age profile angle. I don’t think they’ll have to worry too much about going down and anything from there is a bonus but defs a team to keep onside. Dublin - will struggle. Fear for them big time regarding going down. The strength in depth just isn’t there anymore and I can’t see where they will pick up enough points to stay up. 7/2 to go down I think is a bet for those who like to dip their toes in those waters. Roscommon - The obvious angle (and the bookies would agree) is that the Rossies will go straight back down but I think they have a good chance of staying up. Will be a struggle for sure but they have been building a nice squad last few years and will have the St Brigids lads to come back in after a few weeks. Fancy the New management set up to get a tune of this side. Conclusion League final - Kerry vs Donegal Relegation - Dublin & Galway

Two of the most inevitable things the GAA has ever seen. Literally just put the orange flag up and get on with the kick out. 1) Paul Conroy from downtown 2) Tom O Sullivan from the outside of the left peg
