Over 1500 in transfer portal and they think a new program will solve their problems. If that many players choose wrongly in being recruited, then something is wrong. The first thing they may need to look at changing might b themselves. Perseverance is needed for so many times

Bet Allatoona is wishing they could throw the same pitcher from game one. Hard to beat a load of hitters in a series with just one big arm. Meanwhile the Bears have two high level pitchers & are benefiting from it. #HHJsports

Lol it’s hilarious to me that coaches put out height and weight requirements.... absolutely ridiculous. I was a 5’9, 170 DB going into college and left as a 2x first team all conference and All-American. Height and weight don’t mean a dang thing.

@HillgroveXC @Plainstrackxc Unfortunately it requires a coach to understand the what and why first... most don’t! The #1 question EVERY coach should be able to answer on demand is the focus/purpose of the workout...what are we trying to accomplish

@Plainstrackxc 1/2 - This is EXACTLY what I told my team last week. One thing I try to do is teach them WHY we do what we do so they understand the training & how it’s put together. Oftentimes by the time they’re Seniors, they can write most of their own training.

A great leader once said "You must become greater, I must become less." A coach's job is not to hoard power but to train the team to make him/herself non essential. Guess I get to find out how good of a job I've done at that. Champions make themselves great, even when no one sees
