The irony of NetEase using AI for this year's COA when its story expresses why computers cannot actually "create". The "perfect creations" AI makes are just empty algorithmic clones of mass data combined with random noise. It cannot understand anything beyond surface level.

its ironic that netease is using ai and firing artists when three of their characters were made by fan artists, especially edgar, who is literally an artist. don't stop talking, keep emailing and keep commenting. we have a right to be upset, don't give up.

It's extremely disappointing that Identity V, a game I've come to love for many reasons the past few years is firing artists and replacing them with AI, and encouraging their community and creators to do the same. I'll never support the use of generative AI in any field.
