Hagen Hurst was named the 28-6A Most Valuable Player. Scored over 1,000 career points, broke the single-game rebounding record twice, and shattered the single-season rebounding record. Despite constant double and triple teams, he averaged 19 points and 12 rebounds per game. #MVP

#UILState 6AD2 Championship🏆 Little Elm 57 Austin Westlake 35 One of the best defensive performances at the Alamodome in recent memory. @LEBoysLoboHoops is simply relentless. Forced 22 turnovers and held Westlake to 22% shooting on the night to win the first state championship in school history. 🏅MVP: Josh Weems (2026) One of the state’s best bucket getters got into the zone quickly with an efficient 16 points, and was incredible as a distributor with a game high 8 assists. @imjoshweems @IanBeast35 got things started for LE with a pair of first quarter threes, going 6/9 from the floor for 15 points while @KensingtonCan26 was his usual productive self running the show for Little Elm. Bo Ogden went for 18 points as the standout for Westlake as they finish state runners-up. #GASO

#UILState 6AD1 Championship North Crowley 31 SA Brennan 12 HALF 🎥 @isaakhayes22 draws contact right before the buzzer and goes 2-3 from the stripe to extend NC’s lead to 19. It’s been all North Crowley in a dominant first half at the Alamodome. #GASO

#UILState 5AD2 Championship🏆 Mansfield Summit 52 Beaumont United 40 Was yet another defensive masterclass from @JunitBasketball in the playoffs as they go back to back in 5AD2. 🏅MVP: Joseph Creal III (2029) The freshman was fearless in his first time of the state’s biggest stage, going 6-10 from three point range to finish with a game high 20 points. @joecreal3 @sneed_jaxon22 was huge down the stretch getting to the free throw line and consistently breaking BU’s fullcourt pressure. Sneed finished with 13 points as David Bardere added 8. Payton Jones led BU with 15 points as 6’9” sophomore Ephraim Moore brought in 14 boards. #GASO

Halftime UIL 5A-D1 Championship Frisco Heritage 30 Beaumont Westbrook 13 DUKE signee Bryson Howard looking exactly like a Duke signee. Absolute star first half performance. Lomax was Lomax early to get Heritage in the game. Huge supporting cast production. Westbrook will head to locker room and regroup. Can’t buy a bucket, but they will come out fighting. They are the defending champions. #GASO

#UILState 5AD1 Championship Frisco Heritage 30 Beaumont West Brook 13 HALF Duke bound @bryson_howard5 was absolutely DOMINANT scoring 15 points in the 2nd quarter alone. Cam Lomax with 6 to get things started, before Heritage closed the half on a 12-0 run. Heritage’s defensive game plan has been locked in from the jump. Forcing West Brook to settle for tough shots in a 6-26 first half. #GASO

#UILState 4AD2 Championship🏆 Dallas Carter 67 La Marque 41 @Carter__Hoops completes a historic day for DISD, winning their 1st basketball title in school history & the 3rd for a Dallas school today‼️ After trailing 12-11 after the first quarter, Carter took over the game with an elite defensive performance over the final 3 quarters including a 16-0 run to end the first half. 🏅MVP: Amarion Hunter (2027) Once @cannotguard2_ got rolling there was no looking back. 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for one of the top juniors in the state. Carter’s size advantage provided by @cannotguard_3, @Shaq32k & @itshimred11 wore down LM throughout the game as they won the rebound and turnover battles in this title game. Malcolm McNair was as the bright spot for La Marque, leading his team in scoring as he put up 14 points. #GASO

Final | 4A-D1 🥇 Kimball 62 Crawford 42 Total domination. Kimball knows what to do when they get to San Antonio. A ton of experience in Hancock, Gray, and Coe. The lights were the perfect brightness. Year 3 of varsity for Crawford. They will be back. A ton of talent!
