@GATORSPOTS indeed , refs NEED to be good A bad ref or misleading ones can be very troublesome!!!! Or at times where i dont have any and gotta go off how 2-5 other artists drew the oc

Not every artists prices are the same. If you don’t want to pay one price, find it cheaper 💜 support smaller artists

@LycansPlace I totally understand the need for a ref to be perfect too! Cuz that’s what they’re going to use to represent their character for every other art piece / potential fursuit

@GATORSPOTS oh absolutely!!! Refs are usually the stuff that take the longest , a lot of back and fourth needed Many times lotta stuff needs to be redone too Same applies to costum ocs wich is even worse

@CodyJethro1 As a fellow maker I just want to respectfully suggest that in a situation when you make a mistake that compromises a suit, your next step should always be to rectify it. Humility is a very important skill when you’re doing custom work, and I think it’s def necessary here.

Another day another Be respectful and normal towards fursuit auctions bc I promise you, complaining about an artist’s “prices” on an auction makes you look like a complete idiot.

also i cannot comprehend how people dont have public queues...or even things like trellos in general?! id go mental trying to remember everyone and every little detail, i need my beautiful wonderful trello to help me 😭also are u not worried about professionalism?

@TenTailedWolf OOF. I’ve had good luck sending them emails when I need fur faster. Typically if I make a purchase of any size, and send them an email saying I need it asap, it ships out that week

@GATORSPOTS I'm fr so scared for how long this order will take too 💀 so far my longest wait from Howl was 4-5 MONTHS

Y'all wtf I went to order fur from Howl for a recent commission, and not one, not two, not even three. ALL. ALL of the fur I need is out of stock... WTF I'm so tired, and I'm not playing these games anymore. I'm ordering from BigZ this round and just hope Howl gets it together.

@TheWereRen @TenTailedWolf Newer. I just got a yard of their lux shag cocoa and the backing was so thin I couldn’t shave it to the quality that I wanted. Their beaver is always phenomenal tho (or things I don’t have to shave)

Just a little sour Monday heads up. Do not apply for a commission slot then to just bail out upon your acceptance, because you haven't planned out your finances beforehand. It's not only inconvenient. You are jeopardising the livelyhood of artists by doing so. It's not a game for us. We got a work schedule. Spend working hours with correspondence and prepare for each commission such as looking into materials etc. It's a job. We got bills to pay and we rely on this income just like everybody else. Please keep that in mind. Sort out your finances before applying for any commissioned work. Thank you.
