Mock Trial team competed at the 2nd Annual Wildcat Invitational Tournament in Davidson, NC. The team defeating the University of Kentucky and Davidson College. Team captain Stelios Spirou, won Outstanding Attorney. This is only given to the top four competing attorneys.

Dr. Steve Elliott-Gower has been invited to become a 2023-24 CFR Higher Education Ambassador. The initiative of the Council on Foreign Relations is to promote global literacy among undergraduates. Steve has had a 10yr association for the Council on Foreign Relations.

You may remember earlier this spring when we shared that senior political science major Colin Hall was named GCSU’s first Truman Scholar and that he was the only Truman Scholar recipient from Georgia. Learn more about what he’s been up to since receiving the historic news.

We invite students & their mentors to submit their research to the Georgia Undergraduate Research Conference (GURC). The GURC is a regional, multidisciplinary conference open to undergrads. The submission window is open till Sept. 15. Valdosta State will be hosting on Nov. 10-11.
