Teams either not playing in Canada or only having a handful of games probably don't want to be going through customs multiple times so they'll set up shop in the country with the most games.

The fact Canada is the only nation setting up home base in Canada during the @FIFAWorldCup is a missed opportunity. We need more midsized stadiums and training infrastructure in our country.

The families behind Jesse Marsch’s new deal include Whitecaps current ownership and the Saputos. I’ve previously been told that the Whitecaps group would continue that investment even after selling the team, either locally or otherwise. MLSE seemingly not involved in new deal.
