@shooterjennings@Quarter_Arcades@modretro That's actually the version I play, too, but on Miyoo Mini for me. Not quite as punishing as the arcade, and still the minimal retro feel.
@Quarter_Arcades I think, not sure, but I think Gauntlet. I could definitely spend the rest of my life trying to beat Dragon’s Lair. But I don’t know if that machine would keep working.
Centipede too… that’s one that feels like endless is possible. I love Centipede.
@PremierBaller Sorry to be a hater, but I keep seeing these and I don't understand. The point of a ball shape on an arcade joystick is to put your whole hand around it. What you've got here is just a less ergonomic d-pads that's also more prone to your thumb slipping off.
Okay so here we are at the 1st real pit stop for the CHROMATIC BATTLE STICK. this is actually heaps of fun playing Project S-11 on the #Chromatic by @modretro. This battle stick prototype even held in there when I was smashing into the boss.
The chiefs have the AFC west so scared teams are now trading away draft picks for a new coach, while not having much draft capital, and while being stuck with an aging/regressing QB who takes up a significant part of their salary.
LOL
@HoYeahPeggy@JasonIsbell Not here to stir the pot, so I'll make my exit. Just saw someone with a lot of influence (and who I have a lot of respect for) making an illogical or disingenuous analogy, so I commented. I respect your right to your opinion, and am reminded why I tend to stay off Twitter.
@HoYeahPeggy@JasonIsbell I'm not sure life can be clearly defined, but my point is that there's a point in a pregnancy where most on both sides of this debate would be uncomfortable with artificially ending it. I'm not sure I'd even consider myself pro-life, just pro-thought and pro-rational argument.
@HoYeahPeggy@JasonIsbell ...and of course animals have more autonomy. They can also kill, screw without consent, and steal anything they're physically able to. I don't think many of us would be comfortable legalizing that amongst humans, so that's a flawed argument as well.
@HoYeahPeggy@JasonIsbell Just felt like a poorly formed analogy to me. I'm no biologist, but I believe there's a point in development before birth where it becomes a person so the constant framing of this as strictly a women's rights issue often feels off to me. Agreeing on that point is the hard part.
