#OTD in 1969, Ohio native Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. 6 hrs after he and Buzz Aldrin touched down, Armstrong exited the lunar module and said, “That’s one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind.” An estimated 650 million people watched the steps on television.
