On our way home after an amazing trip to Italy 🇮🇹🌋🇮🇹✅

The end of a busy day. We’ve conquered Vesuvius and actually managed to see it this time!

On our way!!! Italy here we come!

Nearly there. Think Gatwick will beat us by 10 minutes….. Hope you’re all ready for the piles of washing! Thanks so much to everyone for their support pre trip and during. The kids have been a credit to the school, as well as their families. Here’s to the next time! 🌍✈️🙌🏻☀️

We’ve been a bit delayed in our return journey from the airports, due to traffic accidents in from of the coaches on their way to us.  Luton coach should be approx 7.30 now as the driver legally needs to stop as he will have reached his maximum hours.  Gatwick should be back by 7

Luton bus on its way home now. Gatwick set off 20 mins before us.

All of the plans and preparations have meant a smooth trip, until now. Luton group are delayed due to our coach stuck behind an accident on the M1. Probably leaving Luton by 3pm, may need to stop at services due to drivers hours. We will keep you posted ok.

All Landed!!! We will let parents/carers know when we are heading home okay

Day 4…. A plan B needed as Capri ferry was cancelled due to high seas. But what a plan B!! Herculaneum was immense! Great day had by all. Last night in Sorrento, with another Holy Week procession to be marvelled by.

Wet day in Pozullio, climbing Vesuvius (couldn’t see a thing, could have been the Wenault!!!!) and Pompeii yesterday, but we didn’t let it dampen our spirits! Followed by a local community event celebrating Holy Week..
