Rhodohypoxis is a small genus of tuberous flowering plant. They grow from small tubers, bloom in the summer, and go dormant in the winter. The leaves are typically small, grey-green, and strap-like. When in bloom, they range from 2–15 cm (1–6 in) in height.

Skimmia Perosa.
This easy evergreen shrub will offer year round colour and interest. It's great in pots or borders, and it will cope with most settings (apart from hot sun), provided it is kept reasonably well fed and watered.
Prunus incisa 'Kojo-no-mai' is a very small Cherry tree with unusual zagging branches and masses of flowers. Just as winter ends in early March, 'Kojo-no-mai' bursts into life with an abundance of bright white, delicate looking little flowers that develop pink centres.
