A really entertaining way for Trump to wiggle out of this pickle would be for congress to refuse to fund the war and him throwing his hands up and being like "Ah, well, what can you do? Look how useless these people are!" and pulling out, putting all the blame on the legislature

This is exactly what one sees in a failed state. Everything is done so slowly that all the money allocated for a project is eaten up by layers and layers of administration, lawyers, contractors, etc. We have so many regulations in California that we cannot build anything new, much less maintain the infrastructure that was constructed 50 years ago. The real solution? Start over. Throw away all the regulations and fire the 95% of the state & local officials. My proposal is that we revert all the laws & agencies to exactly what they were in 1955. A reset of the state government's "operating system" to what it was when we could actually build freeways and houses in the state. I doubt this will happen. Instead, we will get something far worse.

A sitting U.S. Senator and DHS Secretary nominee told me he "understood" the violent attack on me from behind. Not condemned it. Not apologized for it. Understood it. He also offered zero apology for his past statements. This is unacceptable.
