Solos is coming to Black Ops Royale tomorrow! As a reminder, this mode was originally designed and balanced to launch as a Quads experience. While we recognize the strong interest in a Solos option, please be aware that gameplay is not yet fully tuned for a single player experience. @ModernWarzone Basic and easy to understand and play. Even if you didn’t read anything about this mode it’s self explanatory and after playing a few hours of that you should have ran into just about anything and everything this mode offers. So to me it’s way more casual than warzone.

Black Ops Royale has lowered the barrier to entry for casual players to be on a level playing field with everyone else by removing the need to level meta weapons up. However, the feedback I’ve seen from casual players is that they hate the mode and are leaving in masses. The gameplay itself definitely favors sweatier players, but I want to hear from any of you who consider yourself casual, what do you think of Black Ops Royale / Blackout 2.0? Are your casual friends playing or enjoying the mode? Let me know, I’m tryna see something.

@ModernWarzone @GDCraw Most "casuals" play nothing but bot royale and are upset that real players are killing them. The mode isn't hard to understand, but BR Casuals has conditioned most of the playerbase to be retarded.

@ModernWarzone To me it’s way less sweatier than warzone. Running into a full streamer team that has all meta guns and movement sweatier than aids within first 2 mins of a match was absolute trash. 2 meta guns and perks able to be bought within game without having to loot more than 1 min is poo

@ModernWarzone Why would you say most casuals won’t ever get a lvl 3 armor. It’s all loot based. Level 2 armors are found pretty frequently. And trauma kits are easy to come by. I haven’t had 1 level 3 armors and have defeated people who have had exotic weapons and level 3 armors.

@ModernWarzone Also make some tweaks to the audio as the boxes are currently difficult to find. And that’s what I would be working on right now. Everything else will take time but those are the biggest needs currently

@ModernWarzone Such a great mode with a super high ceiling to improve. I would start by releasing all party sizes for the mode, increase players to 150 total for match, reduce the number of upgrade packs randomly on floor and replace with actual guns as guns are very difficult to come by.

Now that Black Ops Royale / Blackout 2.0 have been out for a few days, what would you change to improve the game mode? 🤔

@TaskForceNews And literally it hasn’t had any QOL updates or different party sizes. Give it sometime. Warzone has had more than 5 years and it’s only gotten worse and more boring. Change is good and needed and brings more content to the game that has been dead and stale for a long time now.

First game of Black Ops Royale: ton of fun! This is the refreshing take we needed on Warzone. We still need to keep at least Resurgence next to it but i could see this mode replace BR in the long run.

Second game: a lot less fun. Random teammates everywhere on the map, couldn't find a single attachment kit so forced to play with a terrible grey AK

@mrword283 @TaskForceNews Haha do you know how small player population of players who want to play by themselves in a big map battle royale is compared to party sizes with teammates. Solos isn’t very highly desired in a big map battle royale mode.

Crazy to remove regular Battle Royale and only add Black Ops Royale Quads. What are we doing...

@G_L_O_P @CODMunityGG Exactly. I don’t think this guy ever played the original blackout either. The amount of looting and not dying required to obtain all the optimal gear is near impossible. Will it happen occasionally absolutely but it’s gonna be rare.
