Trump cannot unilaterally withdraw the US from NATO. He needs the consent of the Senate and an Act of Congress. BUT if he announces he is withdrawing, regardless, itll be the final nail in the coffin of Article 5 for Russia. Without Article 5, NATO is basically a field trip club.
