@inHighburyN5 You know the English media are all getting all expenses paid trips to Saudi Arabia and the magic carpet is rolled out for them all. Our US Soccer Director is leaving 50 days away for the same job in Saudi Arabia. How that for loyalty? Matt Crocker didn’t even last the WC. 🚽

Its beginning to look more and more like the media has been paid for their silence on the outstanding charges of financial doping hanging over Man City. Journalists, commentators and pundits wax lyrical about the club for hour after hour but the charges never, ever get mentioned.

Kudos to Manchester City for freezing ticket prices following consultations with fans. Shows the importance of engaging with fans’ networks like City Matters. Kudos to @BroadstockLee @citymattersreps @WeAre1894. City have listened to fans which not enough clubs do. City are a wealthy club, it’s good PR, but it’s also the right thing to do. Fans bring the noise, the atmosphere, the mood boosts for players. Fans bring the backdrop that TV pays billions for. Clubs should show respect to fans and be measured in ticketing policies, especially given economic pressures on fans. City say they have “taken the approach in recognition of the extraordinary accumulated impact of the current cost of living pressures on fans and their families”. Still issues like those loyal fans being moved to accommodate corporates (club currently emailing fans of details). But, overall, City deserve praise. The introduction of 4,000 “Flexi-Season Tickets”, with 50% ringfenced for juniors, should definitely be welcomed. They are the future. Simplifying the ticket transfer policy makes sense and is fairer. “Fans will be able to list up to 18 friends and family, regardless of membership status, and can do this at any point throughout the season if they are unable to attend a match”. Makes it easier to hit the 10 mandatory games. Fans’ group 1894 “welcomes today's announcement from the club which is in direct contrast to other clubs in the Premier League who have been raising their match ticket and season ticket prices. It is undoubtedly a win for the fans and a vindication for the benefits of collective action across the fan base”. Main points of City announcement below... 👇 #MCFC

@mztaratm @FabrizioRomano So didn't watch, but for some reason you think City "played" to get a "narrow win" even though they had 28 shots. Let's not forget they scored after 6 minutes, so to have 28 shots is hardly sitting back and hoping 1-0 will be enough 🤪🤪🤪

@GDickio @FabrizioRomano Nope, I had something else to do with my time. I’m categorically talking bout the scoreline; not game stats.

@FabrizioRomano You can’t win the league if you continue playing for narrow wins like you did last night.. you’re not winning the league this time, I can bet all my life on this. 😂

🚨Arsène Wenger on the Sir Alex Ferguson & Pep Guardiola debate: 🗣️ Wenger: "Look, you have to deeply appreciate both of these elite managers and everything they have done for football. They are exceptional minds who have elevated the game. But when people make this comparison, you must point out that they operated in two completely different eras.” “Sir Alex and I, we were in the same era. We fought those battles face-to-face for many years. And the reality is that Sir Alex wasn’t given tons of resources to succeed. He had to build the foundation of his club himself. This is a stark contrast to Pep, who has had all the money in the world with unlimited spending to bring his exact vision to life.” “I say this not to diminish Pep Guardiola’s legacy at all. He is brilliant. In fact, Guardiola might equal Sir Alex’s record for league trophies in 12 fewer years as a manager, which is a staggering achievement. But when you look at the entirety of what Sir Alex built and sustained from the ground up, his greatness is simply unmatched especially when it comes to relying on academy graduates to win the biggest trophies, year after year.” #MUFC

Seen lots of mixed opinions on Enzo following the link. Was one of the most in-demand midfielders in the world not too long ago. Brilliant passing range. Distinctly remember plenty of City fans wanting him. Chelsea is chaos. Reckon a change of scenery, proper structure, and stable coaching would be good for him. Likely love to play for Pep too. Think he's got a ton of untapped potential. For a fair fee? Why not?

In 2022, Rodri deliberately stopped the ball with his hand and no penalty was given to Everton, PGMOL apologized later but three points were given to them. They won the league again beating Liverpool by just a point. This institution has won all the trophies out of injustices 🚮

@gingeadams @38Games0Defeats Why not go back to the handball decision against Wolves, or Solanke kicking through the back of Guehi in the Spurs game, or maybe the disallowed goal (Szloboszlai) against Liverpool...... Should I go on? 🤔
