Hi! Today I launched a national Parent and Carer survey to better understand how homes experience schools today in the UK. I would love you to complete it. It takes about 5-10 mins. I need 10k responses by the 9th May. Pls complete and share! thegec.education/gec-homes

I’ve spent the last three years thinking a lot about belonging. Alongside an international team as part of a fellowship we built buildingbelonging.org And at @researchEDBrum I’ll be sharing some of what we learnt. Hope to see you there!

Rural + coastal schools struggle as that lack of funds creates a barrier to excursions that would enhance classroom learning. Continued cost-of-living pressures + the burden of administration makes it a challenge to move from intentions to practise. 👉 thegec.education/the-gec-inclus…

☕️ Kettle on? This week’s February newsletter is a proper pick ’n’ mix of #Edu #EdTech and #AI. Plenty of useful stuff, thoughtful reads, and a few “wait… that’s actually brilliant” ideas (mostly not mine) . 🤖📚✨ If it saves you time, sparks a chat with peers, or gives you something to send to a colleague, or just makes you smile… give it a share. 🔁💬👇 #Education #Leadership #DigitalLearning linkedin.com/pulse/february…

Been reading up on positive, strengths based psychology - I think knowing ourselves, knowing each other and connecting is what will get us through these tough times in education. This line has really resonated: "Most conflict at work is strengths colliding under stress."

THIS IS HUGE!! We have been working on this with our members over 2 years. Researching, using our methodology (from my doctorate) and we KNOW how long it takes. Want evidence informed inclusion? Just take a look!
