We build an AI receptionist. Only for dental clinics. People keep asking why we don't "just expand" to all medical clinics. Because going narrow is the entire strategy. When you pick one vertical, you stop building features and start building infrastructure: We integrated with local Polish PMS systems (Felgdent, Estomed, IQ Dental) that no horizontal player would touch Our voicebot understands multi-stage dental treatments, not just "book an appointment" We trained on 50,000+ real reception conversations from actual clinics None of this transfers cleanly to dermatology or physiotherapy. And that's the point. The moat isn't "AI." Every company has AI now. The moat is knowing that a patient calling about an implant consultation needs a 45-minute slot with a specific doctor, not a 15-minute hygiene check. Horizontal tools handle the easy 60%. Vertical tools handle the 40% that actually makes money. We chose the 40%.

The next problem for vibe coding: We’re about to massively increase the number of apps in the world. But distribution hasn’t changed. So what happens? Maybe less than 1% of apps actually survive. Maybe we’re heading toward a bubble. Maybe it doesn’t “pop” it just gets ignored. (And if no one solves distribution… that’s when I’d short the whole thing.) Either way, something breaks. We’re not short on apps. We’re short on attention. So what needs to change? Maybe distribution gets rebuilt. Maybe attention gets redistributed. Maybe the future isn’t global apps at all. Maybe it’s more local: local apps local marketplaces even local social networks Smaller ecosystems people actually care about. Not saying this is the answer. But these are the directions that start to show up when supply explodes. Still thinking this through.
