At times you can hear my black pins drop in here. Keeping busy watching the proceedings while adding a lovely long crepe train to the mourning hats. @GE_YoungPip has turned up - I’ll see if I can get him to wear one. #DressingForTheOccasion

I have already dressed the chief mourner @GE_JoeGargery in a little black cloak with ribbons which tie snugly under the chin. #LittleBlackCloak

Well, I’ve taken up the best position at the table and had the leaves pulled out to set out my wares. @GE_MrsJoe will be sent off in suitable style. I have yards and yards of beautiful black ribbon, crepe, silk and other suitable cloths for dressing the mourners. #BlackBazaar

Brought the pair of black adorned poles up from the cellar and checked they didn’t need further dressing. Assigned to carriers. They’ll look very fine stationed outside the Gargery house, signposting the occasion. Meanwhile I'll be carrying out the main business inside.

I expect that young Mr Pip has received the company’s black bordered and sealed letter concerning the departure of Mrs J. Gargery and consequent interment and will be arranging his attire and travel for Monday.

I may also consider adding a range of sweet-smelling sachets so that Gentlemen, wherever they wander, need not worry about strong aromas clinging to their Clothes. Or at least some scents for my range of monogrammed handkerchiefs for Gentlemen.

I think there may be an occasion to upsell to my clients, where Gentlemen may have that special occasion and want to look their very best - they may need more than one suit so that they can spend time considering which is the best for that certain meeting.

White silk stockings - going to have to start stocking (yes, yes) these just in case Mr Wopsle is thinking of replacing that fine pair I hear he strutted his stuff with in Denmark.

As for the Boy, what has he been doing exactly? I will have to make enquiries. #needeyesinthebackofmyhead

Confounded Boy! I’ve received a note from young Mr Pip telling me that he’ll no longer be dealing with one who employs a boy who excites Loathing in every respectable mind. it’s true, the Boy’s a pain. #idiotboy

Maybe he even has a Boy to run around for him. If so my thinking is that he would need to dress him as befits a young gentleman’s Boy. Maybe he’ll pop back to the country for his requisites.

I wonder if that young Mr Pip I outfitted a while back has remembered how well I stitched for him. I wonder if he’s moving in the right circles. Perhaps he’s thinking of a new outfit for himself.

I'm hoping my extra super Number Four is sitting most gracefully on that young Mr Pip up in Town. Maybe he'll mention my local work to his new friends.

Took the opportunity of suggesting he continued to patronise the local tailor and maybe talk about the excellent service - he wants delivery by Thursday to Pumblechook’s. Better get stitching. #sewfarsewgood

No nooks or crannies were excluded from my calculations. In fact I took real pains to make sure the suit will fit snug against this fine figure of a young man. Appearance is all, comfort comes second, as many fine ladies will attest.
