Last week we welcomed 11 new students into next year’s 10th & 11th grade AVID classes with an amazing turnout from families, teachers, friends, and classmates. Huge shoutout to current AVID students for leading the program and doing an awesome job! @AVID4College @GFC_Activities

Our 10th grade AVID students toured the brand new Altru Hospital yesterday! 🏥 Students learned about careers in healthcare, support roles within hospitals, and opportunities they can take advantage of now to explore possible career paths! @AVID4College @GFC_Activities

Our 9th grade AVID students had an incredible day at @NDSU in Fargo! 🦬 One of the highlights was visiting the Communications Department, where students were able to record their own news broadcast! Big thanks to NDSU for a fantastic experience—Go Bison! 💚💛

@vmsroyals AE7 kids had a phenomenal guest speaker today! Heather Schneider joined us and shared her passion for food, people, culture, and entrepreneurship! “You have to keep showing up” was her motto and we were hooked! @AVID4College

Our AE 10 students headed over to Winship Elementary to participate in their D.E.A.R (Drop Everything And Read) time with their Kindergarten and 1st grade students. @GFC_Activities
