City of Gainesville officials are not enacting a curfew at this time, but continue to urge neighbors to stay off the roads this evening & tomorrow.

Around 0730 this AM, firefighters responded to a vehicle accident at NE Waldo Rd and 39th Ave. FF arrived in just under 6 min to find two patients. All patients were extricated using specialized rescue tools in just over 20 min. Both patients were transported to the hospital.

Just before 9PM tonight GFR Firefighters responded to a residential building fire near NE 22nd St and E University Ave. The fire is out and there were no injuries reported. FF remain on scene extinguishing hot spots. The fire is under investigation.

Fire crews are on scene of a working house fire near 1500 NE 14th St.

Ruff day🐾 Gainesville Fire Rescue responded to a residential fire this morning at 2325 NE 3rd Place. Two dogs were trapped inside. Crews were able to save one of the chihuahuas and transported it to the UF animal hospital.
