Interface Geochemistry - GFZ

I am an organic geochemist and work @GFZ_Interfacies. I am interested in organic compounds present in marine, ice and snow habitats. To study these compounds, I need to extract them from their matrix, so extracts are the most precious object I work with. #WomenInScienceDay 7/8

I am a biochemist & PhD student @GFZ_Interfacies. I investigate the darkening and enhanced melt of the #Greenland Ice Sheet caused by ice algae. Sampling them & glacier snow is an integral part of my work to analyze the algae metabolism & pigment production #WomenInScienceDay 2/8
