GCSE Plus student Bhyrel John was heavily involved @GFheadlines, being a Media Literacy Ambassador, speaking at Guardian Foundation events in London, Birmingham and Manchester and leading a UNESCO webinar in Oman on mis and disinformation.

GCSE English learners got “behind the headlines” in a masterclass run by the @GFheadlines. Travelling to the @gdn_foundation Headquarters in King’s Cross, learners were tasked to work in pairs to plan, write and edit a front page in real-time. read more: ldeutc.co.uk/latest/read/ne…

Yesterday, we had a fab session with Y11s from @LDEUTC! 🗞️ They teamed up to research, report & edit news front pages on diverse topics like Hurricane Milton, the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, women’s football, pessimistic bees, and even a search for hot tub volunteers 👏

Ada Lovelace Day is a celebration of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). It was great to have so many brilliant role models from @SalesforceUK and @guardian spend the morning with girls in year 8 and 9. #AdaLovelaceDay #STEMEducation

Thrilled to have incredible Y13s from @stmwestcliff join us today for an action-packed Podcasting 101 workshop! 🎙️✨ They met @guardian producers and presenters, got hands-on experience recording their own podcasts in the studios and received a crash course in editing!
