@dankmemesdoot Do I think Mormons are bad people? No. But at an objective level, Christian they are not.

Theologically, they do not view God as preexisting all things, they beleive Christ is the brother of Satan, and hold the teaching that the faithfull are made gods and given their own worlds. I could could further, but Mormon teachings are at extreme odds with scripture and historical doctrine.

Let me know what other protestant denominational logos/imagery I should do next.

Genuine question for my Lutheran friends: Where in scripture do you get the idea that we can resist the calling of the Holy Spirit to salvation? This is something I myself am undecided on. In calvinism, there is a distinction between general calling (the preaching of the gospel, whether the Holy Spirit uses it to call someone to repentanceor not) and effectual calling (when the Holy Spirit uses the preaching of the gospel to work on someone and bring them to repentance). Romans 8:30 seems to imply that all who are called by God are eventually saved and justified. How would you argue against this? Romans 8:29-30 [29] For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; [30] and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

@Astro__robot I can't really stop them, so why get mad? My only rules are that there must be no porn (softcore included), or anything that degrades and mocks Christianity.

@RevIsaacWirtz The funny thing being that A LOT of surgeons are in fact quite religious.

I pray for God to give surgeons the fortitude, knowledge, and skill to do what they need. This doesn't mean that God only grants these gifts to believers, but this does mean that nobody would be capable of surgery were it not for God in the first place.
