‘Flying the Flag’ in Portugal 🇵🇹⛳️ It was a great pleasure to visit the Algarve last week and fly our flag on behalf of cancer fighters worldwide at 4 of the best courses in Portugal: Palmares, Vilamoura (Old), Vilamoura (Els) and Terras da Comporta (Torre) #globalgolf4cancer 🌎

When even your phone is so impressed by the view it needs to tell you where you are. Alongside the 1st at Portstewart, the 4th at Old Head and 11th at Ballybunion, this is the most iconic view when it comes to golf on this island.

Hard to believe the @TheOpen took so long to come back to the island of Ireland. (Before 2019, it hadn’t been since 1951.) I’m not sure Wilma Irskine, Secretary of Portrush for over 35 years, will ever get enough credit for making it happen. In addition to Portrush in Northern Ireland, the worst kept secret in golf is that Portmarnock in the Republic will get its turn soon (Walker Cup in 1991 and British Am in 2019). And to have an Open on the outskirts of Dublin will be lit. Here was my trip to Northern Ireland for @GolfDigest, which included Portrush, Portstewart, RCD, Titanic Belfast, Ardglass and St. Patrick’s grave: youtu.be/2HqJ6u9DLz0?si…

Ladies and gentlemen, I am not someone who brags… but there’s only ever one first time to have your photograph appear on the front cover of a national newspaper. This is today’s.@irishexaminer Shot of @CountySligoGC

Trips down memory lane My parents always encouraged me to participate in various sports and I responded by winning awards which I know they cherished as much as me. This one is for all-round achievement on the sporting front.  Guess the year... or maybe don't!

The ‘4th of the 4th’ … A perfect day to fly our flag on the 4th hole in honour of cancer fighters worldwide. Co Kerry in SW Ireland provided 4 magnificent venues in Ballybunion (Old & Cashen), Tralee and Waterville. Thanks for the superb support! #globalgolf4cancer ⛳️🌏

🎯 Hole-in-one alert! 🎯 Our very own PGA Teaching Professional, Ally McNaughton, made the game look way too easy this morning with a slam-dunk ace at the 13th on the Championship Course! After 3 aces over the past 5 days, who’s next to join the hole-in-one club.

A good day to ‘march forth’ … On March 4th 2017 the GG4C story began with a 2,000 km golf-walk around Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. Huge thanks to everyone who has supported our campaign to encourage the golf community to help cancer fighters worldwide. #globalgolf4cancer ⛳️
