@GGreenie @RoseMan_X Ni tanto, cosas como el Oingo y Boingo quedaban mejor en un solo episodio Al final se supone que eran villanos más cómicos y arrastrarlo mucho quita la gracia

La duración del anime de Stardust Crusaders es una salvajada, era evidente que muchos capítulos duraban más de lo necesario y aún más si leías el manga.

@TheeMightyDave @BBrideley Nobody wants for Jojo to get the OP treatment, but there is a balance. I think SC achieved that balance and shows us that its not impossible for Davidpro to do the same with part 7, the dream would be 3 cours of 24 episodes and give the characters time to breath, rest and pee.

@GGreenie @BBrideley Not at all, the pacing was much better for parts 4 and 6 And part 5's pacing is too close to part 3's anyways You think more episodes is better, but if they tried to pull a one piece and drag out a single chapter for an episode, it would've been horrific

@TheeMightyDave @BBrideley Part 6 on the other hand was hard to adapt to begin with because of the copyrighted characters, but they fumbled even harder than that in other ways and one of those was the gross cuts to almost every arc. Stone Ocean remains inferior to the manga because of that.

@TheeMightyDave @BBrideley Part 4 dropped the ball after sheer heart attack, if you don't get the soulful "Im an alien" and Highway Star then you do you but thats obviously better paced in the manga and some episodes to breathe would have done wonders. By the end it was a guessing game what will they adapt

@raincollector_ @BBrideley What is the purpose of the anime if it not to adapt the timing of jokes, to build tension, to create atmosphere and even danger where there is not? Cramming every single one of these into a 1 parter would have lost some of the original intention, even the OVAs realized this.

@GGreenie @BBrideley dio having 2 could be done in a perfect stardust crusaders adaptation but i think it'd have to be structured differently

@raincollector_ @BBrideley These "villain of the week" types are the blood and soul of SC, you are missing so much soul in Jojo by having them shortened, almost like the OVAs wich are pretty good but so much "Jojo" is lost in the process

@GGreenie @BBrideley all the other "villains of the week" overstayed their welcome in a way where only the beginning and end of the encounters felt worthwhile

@MovingStones_4 @BBrideley Sometimes a fight taking longer is better, sometimes dialogue being extended is better. Show me an example of this were it is a detriment to the story. I'm not cherrypicking examples for my argument either because all of the egypt episodes are top tier specially because of that.

@GGreenie @BBrideley The anime doesn't do that though, it just artificially elongates the fights and dialogue scenes

@MovingStones_4 @BBrideley I want to see the characters interact, risotto's backstory, not cutting gags etc. Part 5 is an excellent adaptation and excells in pacing, but don't tell me part 4 or 6 isn't exactly what i'm talking about.

@GGreenie @BBrideley Part 5 is like 30% longer manga-wise and the anime has 10 less pages And it's the best paced part by a long shot
