GHS falls short on bid for conference title Saugus/Peabody 34 - GHS 26 A hard fought battle at Saugus High School ended Gloucester’s bid for its first conference championship. The Saugus Peabody coop has talented seniors up and down the line up, but GHS put up a strong fight. Joe Amero, Aiden DeCoste, Joe Allen and Tyler Hopping all had wins by decision. Jayden Chadwick and Zach Hashley had wins by major decision while Max Thomas had the only win by pitfall on the night for the Fishermen. Titus Love, Aiden Bartholomew and Drew Rodolosi suffered losses, but all fought off being pinned which saved Gloucester 5 total team points. The Fishermen make their annual trek to Watertown Saturday for a quad with the host, Foxborough and Dedham. Senior night is scheduled for Monday night against Salem at the GHS field house. (Hopefully the snow stays away)
