Sr captain Brooke Shaeffer led the hit parade today as the 5th seed Lady Glads wrapped 19 hits in a dominating 9-0 victory over FDR IN section Qtrs. Marley Northrup & Anna Mayo added 3 hits each. Addi Freiberger was outstanding, scattering 7 hits with 6 Ks. Next up: 5/22 @ #1 VC

This week brings on Section 9 Playoffs. Schedule is as follows: ⚾️ 5/20 - Quarterfinals @ Valley Central - 4PM 🥎 5/20 - Quarterfinals @ FDR - 4:30PM 🥍 5/21 - Girls Semifinals vs. New Paltz - 4:30PM

Back in 2019, Alabama softball pitcher Montana Fouts would throw around cement blocks stacked on the plate to avoid throwing the ball right down the middle 🤯

Tennis ball bounce drill to work on timing. Focus on staying middle of the field/opposite field unless it’s really inside. This is good for someone who is always early and pulling every ball or who is on their front side too much.

The Lady Gladiators jumped out to an early lead today vs @WSHS_Panthers on their way to a 10-2 win. Brooke Shaeffer pitched a strong 5 innings with 5 Ks. The Sr captain also led the offense going 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs. Addi Freiberger & Sophia Springer added 2 hits & an RBI each.

Stellar defensive effort today as the Lady Gladiators shutout league rival @CWallDragons, 4-0. Addi Freiberger was sharp in the circle with 7 Ks & scattering 3 hits for the win. Freiberger also helped her own cause at the plate, going 2 for 3 with a HR, 2 RBIs & 2 runs scored.

The Lady Gladiators go 2-0 on the day, beating host FDR 6-1 in the Championship game of the FDR Varsity Softball Tournament. Addi Freiberger spun a gem with 7 Ks & scattered 4 hits. Springer (3 for 4 w/ 4 RBIs) and Shaeffer (3 for 4 w/ 2 RBIs) with big games. Glads move to 6-2.

Lady Gladiators take the 1st game of the FDR “Miles of Hope” Tournament, 10-0 vs O.L. Lourdes. Strong pitching from Sr Brooke Shaeffer. Balanced offensive attack was led by Marley Northrup and Preslei Bakker, both going 2 for 3. Sabrina Diaz & Addi Freiberger also contributed.

We are pushing back the start 1 hour so game times start at 10,12,2 and 4!

Lady Gladiators pick up a big early season league victory, 2-1 over Warwick at home today. Addi Freiberger spun a gem - 5 Ks & 3 hits. Mia Antolino knocked in Addi in 3rd. And Marley Northrup sacrificed i. Antolino for the game winner. Olivia Martino had 6 Ks for Warwick.
