@Goldmemberntum @ginadavidsonlbc The physical & political practicalities of independence have nothing to do with whether or not there is a democratic mechanism for Scotland to leave in the first place. It's a separate issue.

@GHarrisReid @ginadavidsonlbc Independence would mean Scotland rejoining the EU while the rest of the UK stays out. That would require a hard border (and likely a physical wall or fence) between Scotland and England to enforce EU customs and immigration rules. Pretty laughable, right?
