🎙️this message is for you: 🔥I’m going to give you some free advice – take it or leave it (the kind of advice I usually charge for as a marketing consultant)…
Do not lead with AI next month at the AVIXA #InfoComm26 show in Las Vegas. I am serious. AI has rapidly moved into the corporate jargon graveyard like many other other marketing-led terms like “Think outside the box”, “Ecosystem” and “Post-pandemic.” if you haven’t noticed that “AI” is experiencing extreme backlash from “normal” people, you might be living under the proverbial “rock” (jargon-pun-intended).
If your product uses AI, use a different term. Don’t push the term AI. If AI is in your booth signage, remove it. If you’re demonstrating something because of AI, don’t.
I am serious. This is free advice. So take it or leave it but if you’re relying on AI at the show, you will not have a good show….

💜Unsustainable Spending
💜Terrible Grad Speeches
💜Big Brother Monitoring
💜Over-Emphasized Analytics
💜A Term Used to Draw Clicks
💜Too many Social Media posts
💜Job Loss Fears
Don’t believe me, ask your 20 year-old and 30 year-old colleagues and kids… but you don’t have to, eventually you’ll notice.
