I have become aware of an intended surprise welcome by staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs scheduled for my arrival in Ghana tomorrow. My checks with the Ministry’s management indicate that such surprise welcome ceremonies are a tradition of the ministry to celebrate major accomplishments and proud moments for Ghana. I have expressed my appreciation to management for their thoughtful gesture and instructed that all such plans to offer me a surprise welcome at the Airport be cancelled immediately. I would have strongly opposed the idea if I had been consulted. This is not a personal victory, and besides, there is more work ahead of us. God bless all our dynamic and talented staff at the MFA and bless our dear country even more to keep winning on the global stage under the guidance of President John Mahama. BREAKING: An Iranian ballistic missile guided by Chinese BeiDou satellites, fuelled by Chinese sodium perchlorate, precisely navigated by Chinese gyroscopic sensors, and fabricated on production lines equipped with Chinese SMIC tools just struck the Neot Hovav industrial zone south of Beersheba. Israel’s largest chemical and hazardous waste complex. Nineteen plants. Adama. Teva Pharmaceutical. Israel Chemicals. A warehouse is burning. Route 40 closed. No injuries. No hazmat release. Fire contained. Four countries built that missile. One country appears at every layer of the supply chain. The same country that processes 85 to 90 percent of the rare earth magnets inside the Arrow interceptor that was fired to stop it. The missile cost Iran between $200,000 and $500,000. The Arrow 3 interceptor that attempted to stop it cost $2 to $4 million. If THAAD was fired, $13 to $15 million. If a Gulf state Patriot battery engaged a Shahed in the same wave, $4 million to stop a $20,000 drone. The cost ratio runs 5 to 1 at the lowest. 200 to 1 at the highest. The defender pays more to stop the weapon than the attacker pays to build it. Every single time. BeiDou is the variable that makes this ratio lethal. Before Chinese satellite integration, Iranian ballistic missiles relied on pure inertial navigation with a circular error probable of 500 to 1,000 metres. With BeiDou-3 hybrid guidance, the CEP drops to 50 to 200 metres. The missile that hit Neot Hovav did not land in the desert. It landed in a 19-plant chemical complex. BeiDou did not make the missile more expensive. It made the same cheap missile accurate enough to force the defender to fire the expensive interceptor every time. The cost of the offence stayed flat. The cost of the defence compounded. The Pentagon burned $5.6 billion in munitions in 48 hours. Israel has fired hundreds of Arrows since February 28, exceeding $1 billion in interception costs. The US requests $200 billion in supplemental funding. Iran’s total offensive expenditure: an estimated $200 million. $200 billion to stop $200 million. A 1,000 to 1 ratio at the strategic level. China is on both sides of the ledger. Chinese BeiDou makes the Iranian missile accurate enough to force interception. Chinese rare earth magnets make the interceptor that fires to stop it. Chinese SMIC tools build the production lines that fabricate the guidance chips. Chinese sodium perchlorate fuels the propellant. Every missile that forces an interception depletes an Arrow that contains Chinese rare earth magnets that are under export restrictions that China controls. The attacker’s supply chain and the defender’s supply chain route through the same country. The country profits from both the missile and the interceptor. The country that makes the offence possible also makes the defence expensive. This is not a war between Iran and Israel. This is a cost function. The cost function has one variable on the offence side: China. And one variable on the defence side: also China. The rare earth magnets in the Arrow motor. The BeiDou signal in the Emad guidance. Both made in the same country. Both consumed in the same exchange. One depleting the other. The war is a Chinese supply chain consuming itself at a ratio that bankrupts the defender before it exhausts the attacker. Neot Hovav is contained. No injuries. No hazmat. And none of that matters. The interceptor was fired. The stockpile shrank. The rare earth magnet was consumed. Tomorrow another BeiDou-guided missile will force another Arrow containing another Chinese magnet to fire at another ratio the defender cannot sustain. I ddnt know there will be this much interest in the Abu Trica post I made yesterday. 1. I see People are surprised how on earth I can say that the real amount involved is just 50,000 when it’s all over that it’s 8 million. 2. Now, to be clear. This is not about arguing a legal case in the public. In fact, we haven’t put out any public statements about this case since we took it on, for various reasons. 3. The way forward for the Gentleman will be in the law courts. And we are arguing our case there. 4. So I will only speak on the issue of that viral 8 million claim. And I will just point out here that we have already sued EOCO on that public statement they made calling a suspect “a notorious fraudster”; and that matter is in court. Law enforcement should avoid character assassination of suspects. 5. Secondly, I do not hold brief for Abu and cannot be the one to justify or explain to anyone his own business or professional entanglements. He can do that better. 6. The plan was for him to get bail; so that he can grant his own public interviews. Well, that bail was refused 6 times. Even when for 2 months, all we were doing was waiting for the US to bring the evidence packet. 7. Now my job as a lawyer, isn’t to rely on character assassination’s of a client in the media; or even allegations. My job in defending anyone is to ask “where is the proof”. And I can only speak on something I am provided proof of. 8. Now look at the first picture, which is a statement on the US Department of Justice website, they say clearly that Abu Trica took over 8 million from Elderly victims. Keep that figure in mind. And also the supposed victims. 9. Then after that, based on the statement (not evidence) they gave to Ghana’s AGs Department, they decided to break it down into their own 9 charges. I am attaching the 9 charges for you to look at. 10. If you add up all the money alleged in the supposed charge sheet, it is 7 point something million. No longer “over 8 million”. 11. Keep in mind that these are their own numbers oo. I haven’t added or taken away 1 kobo. 12. Now you may ask, where did I get the 50,000 I talked about yesterday from. Well, look at count 1. They themselves tell you about that 50,000 cedis. 13. Now I am telling you that this is the only charge for which we see evidence submitted for in their entire packet. This is why I am able to speak to that. 14. Now you may ask, so how did they get to that 7 point something million then? Well, remember that account they told Abu Trica to go and find? Well he did. When he did, the undercover FBI agent told him, that that account has a problem he should go and find another one. Well he went asking, and someone gave him a second one which he gave them. 15. Now note this, all these accounts are US bank accounts; and they are in the name of US persons. Nothing linked to Abu Trica. 16. The US is saying that when they go through the history of these accounts over the years, the total transactions in them are over 8 million. So therefore, if Abu won’t mention the names of the people who gave him the accounts to give them, then the will say Abu Trica scammed people of 8 million dollars. 17. As I sit here, if it is today they will even bring the bank statements of those accounts for us to verify; much less being able to actually connect Abu to any of the transactions in that account, I am still waiting. 17.b. What I What I find interesting too is that, anytime their Undercover agent says to Abu, I think I can get 68,500, 52,000, 100,000 or even 590,000 next time to transfer. And Abu asks him so what will be my share of that. They include that 590,000 as part of the moneys Abu has scammed. The mere talk that their own undercover agent says magically becomes money Abu scammed old people for.
