@boxrNathan I would not watch these videos if it weren't for your thumbnails.

@hikebakelift It's not going to seem like it's much about either, but The Face of War by Martha Gellhorn

@616Popey @Skye_Melissax You're stimulating the second hand market though, thus increasing re-sale value. If someone knows they can sell something more easily/for a higher price, they're more likely to buy a new item- so there's still an increase in demand, just one step removed.
English

@Skye_Melissax Thrifting a leather coat is at least morally neutral because it doesn’t create demand within the supply chain. It might feel icky but it doesn’t have a negative material outcome for animals
English

Of course you would, you're vegetarian (derogatory)
𝔄𝔶𝔩𝔦𝔫@sapphicsuicides
i'm a vegetarian myself but i'd rather thrift a real leather coat or use wool for my sweaters than plastic

@TommoMcCluskey Also, the luck should be given in a direction that incentives good behaviour. As it stands, dangerously staying out on inters hoping for a red is rewarded. It would be better to reward people pitting early if they see a red coming and getting full wets.
English

@TommoMcCluskey as the effect of*
To avoid luck with regards to where you are on track at the time of Red Flag, pitlane starting cars would be in track position order, not order that they can get to pit exit. Non-pitting cars get to go in their relative order without empty grid slots.
English
There is no truly "fair" way of going about it unfortunately. When a red flag drops, there will always be advantage given to some and taken from others. Same goes with a safety car, or even a VSC.
Restarting on cold old tyres can be very sketchy, plus what if you run through debris of the incident that brought out the SC? This isn't a new talking point.
Only thing I can think of is that a tyre change under a red flag should NOT count towards your 1 mandatory pit stop. That'd prevent the snooze fest we got in Monaco. But, can that just throw the unfairness too far in the other direction? Maybe. 🤷

@HolyShitCerise The bread and circuses have been continually upgraded while the chances of resisting effectively were lowered, + specialisation has created a would be revolutionary population less fit to sustain itself without the existing structure. Grim situation all round.
English

@williamspidge And here was me thinking that being referred to different professionals round in a circle was them going "You really have to meet this guy, he's great!" to their colleagues...
English

@PaysTara @PlantBasedNews @PlantChompers Yes, that's the point being made. They had to find a way to target meat without calling it meat- so the thing they could isolate as mostly occurring in a normal person's diet via meat is what became the target.
English

@PlantBasedNews @PlantChompers Saturated fats don't appear to be as bad as we have been left to believe.

English
Did you know that 'cutting down on saturated fat' basically means cutting out animal products?
Dr. John Scharffenberg, a 100 year old nutrition professor, tells it like it is.
Video from @PlantChompers 😃

@ArchRhythm One of your friends is me (not good)- so you probably seek new, better ones.

@AllyFogg Prison sentences/fines scaled to networth. If you speed and you're a billionaire, multi-million £ fine. If you're a billionaire and you assault someone, life in prison.
Evidence gained via entrapment should be permissible in court, but also entrapment becomes a serious crime.
