Today, His Majesty King Charles III met emergency service responders in Manchester to recognise their efforts following the terrible Heaton Park synagogue attack. During the visit to Greater Manchester Police HQ, the King spoke to some of the fire crews who were first on scene along with Chief Fire Officer Dave Russel and Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham.
We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of @DerbyshireFRS Chief Fire Officer/Chief Executive Rob Taylor. On behalf of everyone at GMFRS, including Rob’s former colleagues here in Greater Manchester, we offer our sincere condolences at this difficult time and our thoughts are with Rob’s family, friends and colleagues.
