Welcome to our new County Youth Lead! 🥳⚜️ Ellena Wood is joining our team to lead and inspire youth shaped across our County. She is a volunteer at 3rd Davyhulme and part of their band. Ellena was a participant at the World Scout Jamboree 2019. #YouthShape #Scouts

After 5 days on their ‘mini-jamboree’ path near Oslo, @UKContingent Patrol 20 joined IST from across the County including our Acting Lead Volunteer at the ‘Opening Campfire’ for @roverway2024 with spectacular views at Lundsneset! 🇳🇴🔥🇬🇧

Our patrol of 8 young people are heading #northoftheOrdinary to #Roverway2024 as part of the @UKContingent. We hope you have an amazing adventure! ✈️ Roverway is an International Scout and Guide event for those aged 16-22, which is this time taking place in Norway! 🇳🇴

It was a night of FIRSTS! The FIRST King’s Scout Award to be achieved in the County was presented by our new County President, @GMLO_UK at her FIRST event in her new role. The presentation took place at FIRST Broadheath Scout Group. Congratulations Emily! ⚜️

Today I had the pleasure to attend @GMWScouts Celebration of Excellence, celebrating the achievements of those who have earned their Chief Scout Bronze or Silver awards. Was amazing to see so many people (both adults and young people having fun during this activity-filled day!

Our Annual Scout and Explorer Cardboard Canoe Race is underway at Sale Water Park! 📦 🛶

We also had 20 teams take part in the @NW_Hunt Shelterbox Scavenger Hunt in Liverpool. We hope you’ve had a fantastic weekend! #SkillsForLife #GMWScouts

A busy weekend across the County! Hundreds of Squirrels and Beavers enjoyed the @sim_manchester. Our Unit Leaders and IST joined the rest of the @UKContingent ahead of the 25th World Scout Jamboree, whilst the rest of @Unit53_25thWSJ were on the water stations for the @Great_Run.
