I think I’m being dad of the year: take my kids to this epic bakery by our house. Get there 5 minutes before they open at 7am. Genius. Pull up. There’s 300 people in line with the same brilliant plan. 95% of us are dads and kids. I wait 45 minutes for Jen’s cleverly named cappuccino and enough pastries to hold us over until Christmas—somehow keeping the kids at bay. I know, I’m a hero. Just another day in the life with a 3 and 1 year old. Wouldn’t trade it for anything. My wife deserves every bite of that blueberry scone. She’s legend. Happy Mother’s Day to all you other amazing moms.

BREAKING: All charges against myself, my partners, and the Lodge have been officially rejected. The seized money and equipment will be returned and we will reopen as quickly as possible, hopefully within a few weeks. The Grand Jury in Williamson county heard the allegations against us, and refused to authorize proposed charges. Justice has prevailed. The damage to our staff and members has been tremendous, and it is now time to rebuild. We will be putting together a kickoff event in the near future. In the words of a great man: “you gotta know when to hold'em”
