One year ago today. 21st May 2025. Bilbao. 🏆
This great closing commentary 🎙️
I still get chills thinking about it.
That scrappy, ugly, beautiful Brennan Johnson goal just before half-time. The way the clock seemed to freeze in the second half as we clung on. Ange and the players on the touchline, living every second with us. The final whistle. The roar. The tears. After 17 long, painful years without a single trophy… we were champions of Europe again.
I remember hugging strangers in the street like they were family. Grown men crying in the stands. My phone blowing up with messages from mates I hadn’t spoken to in ages. For one night, none of the usual Spurs pain mattered. We did it. We actually fucking did it.
Now here we are, 365 days later… and it still feels like a dream. That night in San Mamés reminded us what this club can be when the owners believe and invest in the future of this club. When the boys in Lilywhite fight like their lives depend on it we can achieve.
Wherever you were when that final whistle went — whether in the stadium, in a bar, or screaming at your screen at home — I hope you’re smiling at least for today remembering it

@Don_Falcone2 100%...if reports are true, De Zerbi included a clause in his contract that gives him the authority to remove and add or at least have huge influence on this. Let's hope so if those two clueless clowns are still around come next season...wherever we may find ourselves.
What i love about De Zerbi is he knows the squad are really poor.He knows full well K Muani is awful. He isn’t stupid & he’s clearly doing everything in his power to create a siege mentality just to survive. Make no mistake, if we survive De Zerbi will want to rid of most of them
@JonnyH3232@wallacek07@LastWordOnSpurs And we were told that the much needed treatment to get us off life support in the Jan window wasn’t needed. Shocking and utterly disgraceful!
It’s hard to believe this is where Spurs were a year ago celebrating a Europa league cup 🏆 win over Manchester United.
Now we are praying we get a home win or a draw against Everton to remain in the league how the club we all love has fallen.
The owners ENIC Lange and Co must take full responsibility
#COYS 🤍💙
Nightmare scenario tonight. Lose to Chelsea meaning this shit relegation battle continues until final day and City drop points meaning Arsenal win the league
Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi on could captain Cristian Romero return this season...
"I don’t know, but listen we have to play another two games.
"When a player is available after a long time injured, it is a big problem because the decision is tough.
"The only one target we have now - whether we play with Romero, Vicario, Kinsky - the target is just one, and that is to stay up and to make points tomorrow.
"This is the target for everyone. Individual targets are not important."

@Cardia_79 Same with one of the boys in my sons hockey team. And it’s clear how negatively it affects the boy but he goes on. You got ⚽️⚽️ taking that dad on
There's this dad at rugby. He's never happy with how his son PLAYS, kaks him out every chance he gets. So now I'm going out of my way to praise the boy (in front of his dad) and also speaking to the dad saying how wonderful his son plays. But I want to punch the dad in his face..
4/4 She touches people's lives like you can't believe. She gives her love to everyone, even strangers. She will use her last money to buy food for homeless ppl. We don't have blankets anymore because she gave them to ppl sleeping on the street. She is remarkable. She's my mom❤️
1/4 Today a year ago my (our) lives took a sharp turn. Early morning I took my mom to the ER. She was out of breath and couldn't walk. I thought its her heart. After ECG and various blood tests that day her heart was fine. But when her full blood count came back it was the worst
@Cardia_79 Sjoe! Not only polio but other vaccines also, a 'virology pioneer' as per his bio. We have so much to be proud of, inter alia Dr. Chris Barnard...
@bridagul I really wish we sign him Brother. He might be getting on in age but his commitment and dedication is superb...and those tackles and the odd goal, or hitting the inside post 🤣
