Last Week in Bitcoin Adoption 🇺🇸 U.S. Digital Asset Policy Lawmakers reached a deal on the 21st Century Road to Housing Act, which would prohibit the Federal Reserve from issuing a CBDC until 2030. The Fed also proposed a stablecoin issuer identification program, marking the first GENIUS Act rulemaking from the central bank. Senator @BillHagertyTN said he hopes the CLARITY Act is signed into law in July, while Congressman Nick Begich and Senator Cynthia Lummis both reiterated support for a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. 🇹🇼 Bitcoin as a Reserve Asset Taiwan’s central bank met with the @BitcoinPolicy Institute to discuss Bitcoin as a reserve asset. No adoption decision has been made, but the fact that these discussions are now taking place outside the U.S. is significant. Bitcoin reserve policy is becoming an international question. 🇵🇱 Regulatory Competition Poland’s President vetoed a Bitcoin and crypto regulation bill for the third time, citing concerns that it could push domestic Bitcoin and crypto businesses into other EU jurisdictions. 🟠 Bitcoin Exposure via Traditional Financial Products @FranklinTempleton filed for ETFs that would reinvest stock dividends into Bitcoin. @BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Premium Income ETF is also set to launch, targeting yield through a Bitcoin-linked income strategy. @MorganStanley’s Bitcoin ETF bought more than $25M in BTC during the week. 🇺🇸 Public-Company Bitcoin Accumulation @Strategy bought another 1,587 BTC, increasing total holdings to 846,842 BTC. The company also raised its USD Reserve to $1.1B, strengthening the capital structure around its Bitcoin treasury strategy. @Strive acquired another 73 BTC and now holds 19,105 BTC, ranking #7 on the Bitcoin 100 list. DDC Enterprise bought an additional 95 BTC and now holds 2,899 BTC, ranking #28 on the Bitcoin 100 list. Strive’s SATA 30-day average trading volume also rose 215% to $53.1M after its shift toward daily dividends, showing how Bitcoin treasury strategies are becoming increasingly tied to credit-market design. 🟠 Bitcoin Network Infrastructure Bitcoin mining difficulty fell 10.09% at block 953,568, the second-largest downward adjustment of 2026. The adjustment reduced the computational threshold for miners to find blocks, helping stabilize miner economics after less efficient machines came offline. 🟠 Bitcoin Network Activity Bitcoin transaction activity moved near cycle highs, with daily transaction counts recently exceeding 800,000. A large share of recent activity comes from smaller transactions, showing that demand for Bitcoin blockspace is broadening again.
