3 May: BGT vs. LCS - Seiga Sumi and Shah need to start in midfield. Yuki Kobayashi’s forward passing is excellent, but having only one creative player in Koya Kazama is a worth while trade off for more control on the ball and in recovery.

@Jon_Mackenzie Loss of talent advantage in the backroom showing up? More teams using skilled sports scientists, nutritionists, data analysts, set piece coaches etc. relative to what was once a top tier team resource / secret sauce.

I know everyone likes to say "there are no good teams anymore in the Prem" but I think so much of it comes down to fact that there's been a shift in the tactical landscape meaning that the elite sides have lost their edge. It's not just a loss of talent advantage.

I look forward to next season already. Question: What does it say about the physical levels of @SGPremierLeague if 40-yo Keisuke Honda joins the league? Or does it reflect more on his longevity in sustaining elite fitness levels?

@Ibranalytics It is a cheaper option which unlocks a segment of pple without cable TV but just want to watch EPL (and are currently on illegal sites). EPL also just released their old matches for free — expect the content loop to be even stronger.

Agreed that there needs to be a re-think of how we can attract crowds to the SPL. Take the time to study what brings the people to the stadiums. What is needed to retain them. Football is nothing without its fans, and there needs to be a sustainable pipeline on this front.
