The Gas Policy Development Project Phase 3 (GPDP 3) successfully conducted Workshop 2 for the development of the Integrated Inspection and Monitoring Manual (IIMM) on 6 March 2026 in Intramuros, Manila.

The pilot test provided practical validation of the pre-first draft of IIMM. Insights gathered from the visit will be consolidated and incorporated into the next version of the manual, which will be further discussed in a succeeding workshop in March 2026.

On Feb 20, the Gas Policy Development 3 and the Department of Energy pilot-tested the Integrated Inspection & Monitoring Manual (IIMM) for the PIA-HSSE IMT. The site visit took place at the First Gen LNG Terminal in Batangas City.

By establishing the IIMM as a common regulatory tool, GPDP 3 and its partner agencies are enhancing the efficiency of LNG operations. This collaborative effort represents a vital step toward a more cohesive regulatory environment for the Philippine gas sector. #LNG #NatGas #GPDP
