Earlier today (January 22nd 2026), the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) certified the Eagles' Greatest Hits 1971–1975 40x platinum. It becomes the first ever album to receive that honor. Also today, Hotel California was certified 28× platinum. Congratulations to the Eagles! 🎉🎉
