down to 2, 7yo boys from England. Both showed off their love of squeaky toys, but it was the 2nd one that seemed to make a connection. It didn't take long after that for them to make their decision - congrats to Jacko, now Angus, & his new family, sister, Isabel & Mom, Kellie. /2

A mom & daughter came in today looking for a new greyhound companion for their family. They previously adopted a girl named Winnie (fka Heaven) from us but she sadly passed away earlier this year. They came in with a list of dogs they wanted to meet, and quickly narrowed it /1

COLTON! This guy is beyond adorable!! He will put you through your paces though - he is a typical 2 year old - plenty of energy, but then cuddles beautifully for a nap. Colton is still available for adoption. He sees a Rehab Specialist this next week to see if there is /1 of 2

MARTY!! Marty's new dad shared these delightful pictures with us and they just made us smile!! Marty is settling well into his new life! We are so happy for Marty and his new family! Thank you for sharing!

Happy May Day!! We have two dogs as our May Dogs of the Month!! Bridie and Sadie are sisters and almost identical looking! Bridie is the more outgoing of the two sisters. Sadie takes great comfort from Bridie & it would be wonderful if the two of them could go into a home /1

Thank you to the folks at the Irish Retired Greyhound Trust for sending us another wonderful bunch of dogs!! /2

The Irish Pups Have Landed! Today we welcomed 4 new pups from Ireland - Earth (M), Bang (M), Billy (M) & Tommy (F). They had a chance 2 run around & stretch their legs, get a bath & a bite to eat. More info 2 come as we get them settled, get 2 know them, cat test them, etc. /1

GPI Thursday Available Dog Report ~ Brightwater walk with JACKO, ANNIE, JONATHAN and alumni Tippa. At the kennel, Bev, Chris and Margaret S spent time with various dogs at the kennel park - PANDORA, SADIE, BRIDIE, JIMMY, ALFIE, AMIR, LUCY, BLAKE and JONATHAN. /1

they got along. After a quick romp together in the yard that didn't seem to be an issue, so they made it official! Congratulations to Marty and his new family - dad Richard and new sib, Kenai. /3

One of the pups at the open house was also a playful senior, a 9-year-old Irish lad named Marty. He's a pretty mellow, affectionate guy who also likes his play time, and happens to be our April Dog of the Month! The only thing left was to introduce Marty & Kenai and make sure /2

Today's adopter 1st visited us a few weeks ago @ our kennel open house. He got to meet a bunch of our dogs, & had a lot to think about when he left. His senior Vizsla boy Kenai is pretty playful and has been going on walks and to meet & greets with greyhounds for a while now. /1
