I am very proud of Irene de Diego, who has got the first prize awarded by the Cátedra @socotecspain of @unizar, to her final degree project. The work adressed the study of the combustion of ammonia-methanol mixtures and was performed in the @GPT_research @I3Aunizar Enhorabuena!

The seminar was organized by @I3Aunizar and @AboAkademi. It covered aspects related to Black Liquor combustion chemistry, CFD modelling, corrosion, future developments of the boilers, and the implications of moving into oxycombustion, for carbon capture and utilization.

This week we hosted the Seminar "Present and future of black liquor combustion", with over 40 attendees from academy and industry, coming from Spain, Finland, Sweden, Canada and the USA. This is part of the Oxykraft project activities: oxykraft.i3a.es
