Why would you expect that he would? Most of the time he doubles down and further entrenches himself, especially confronted with expert opinions, facts, data, etc.

Supporting Trump was not a popular thing with many of my friends and family members. I did it nevertheless.
If Trump really said that Ukraine started the war, I feel deeply ashamed for my naivety. I strongly assume that most decent people feel the same way.

Volodymyr Zelensky is NOT a dictator. Vladimir Putin IS a dictator. Zelensky didn’t start the war in Ukraine. Putin did. Hope this clarifies things for anyone who is confused.

@OfficialBBrooks I doubt that the outcome of what's happening right now will in any way improve the lives of our homeless.
I have yet to see a cogent explanation as to how gutting federal agencies like the VA, DoE, CFPB, etc. to pay for a small part of top income tax breaks help the homeless.

@GPaullJr You just outlined the problem perfectly. Of course want everyone to be okay, but we need to allocate sources in a better way & I believe that’s what is trying to happen now. It’s extremely flawed right now, those adjustments are hard.

I can’t stay quiet anymore as these liberals care more about people around the world than right at home.
I grew up poor, at times without food. I’ve been homeless, slept in cars or under an overpass.
My community here in America suffers. Start there.

@OfficialBBrooks $10M spent fighting suffering some way in the US is not the same force multiplier that it is abroad either. I'm not saying that helping 10,000 people abroad is more important than 100 here... but rather that we can do both simultaneously.

I'm a vet and have also been homeless. I want to see an end to homelessness in general - not just for veterans, but for all.
These things do not prevent me from also wanting to see us fighting suffering abroad.

Yeah, exactly! The only way to stop fraud and waste of taxpayer money is to follow the payment flows and pause suspicious transactions for review. Obviously.
Naturally, this causes those who have been aiding, abetting and receiving fraudulent payments very upset.
