Check out the first paper about moonquakes! doi.org/10.1029/2022JE… Why do some moonquakes slip backwards? Do they slip forwards and backwards? Or can deep moonquakes slip in any direction? we find they can slip in a variety of directions and must be driven by tidal stresses!

We have been having a discussion in this cruise about learning to use python. Most of us here use MATLAB, some of us are thinking of making the transition to python. What are your thoughts? For geosciences data analysis what do you use? ⁉️

@Ales42 I switched for my post doc (although I still do power spectra in Matlab because I can’t find a good python package). I probably didn’t have to switch to python but it was good learning experience + students in the group use it. Whatever works for you!
