Literally every single player and coach who has played with Nico absolutely raves about how great of a guy and teammate he is. Never heard a bad thing said about him But all of Devils twitter KNOWS he’s a bad leader. Because the team is doing bad and he’s the captain, because he doesn’t have the most fiery personality, now its all on him and he’s a bad leader So tired of hearing this, it’s such a lazy take. Everything we’ve ever heard suggests the exact opposite. Not to mention there is an entire TEAM in that locker room that can speak up. Being a leader isn’t exclusive to the captain. And there are also different ways to lead. There are plenty of veterans on this team who can step up and be vocal leaders. And your coach is probably the biggest vocal leader of the team. We need to stop blaming everything on Nico because of a letter. Let’s start thinking a bit more critically here guys.
