@thehat2k5 @fandompulse Discord involves the opportunistic range of communications with other communities without a suggestion algorithm. There bots are more difficult to keep in circulation due to how relevant live chat and video streaming are with how the content is commonly gaming. They argue there.

@fandompulse The sad part is how that small group of problem children seem amplified by thousands of bots here on X. This is the only social media platform I'm on where grown men go though boxes and boxes of tissues and tp over "DEI". I thought Facebook was for you boomers 😂

Kathleen Kennedy, in her Deadline exit interview after stepping down as Lucasfilm president, on what she considered the lows of her tenure: "The lows are that you've got a very, very small percentage of the fan base that has enormous expectations and basically they want to continue to see pretty much the same thing. And if you're not going to do that, then you know going in that you're going to disappoint them. I'm not sure there's anything you can do about that, because you can't please everybody." Is the person who ran Star Wars into the ground blaming the fans on her way out?

@LandOfTheLocke @FoundationDads Odd hill to die on but you sure are willing to do it calling it one of the best written TV shows ever. Even if you segregate it down to just comedy it's a run of the mill feel good sports centered show.

Think what you want about the character - who as far as i can tell is not portrayed as a Christian in any meaningful way (seems like a modern man shaped by family values that likely have a Christian history, but have been secularized) - Ted Lasso has some of the best TV writing ever. IDK where you get 'falls flat' from. ALL the characters grow and change in interesting ways, for better or worse. relationships are complex and deep. solid, easy humor is mixed with deep, heavy, unexpected emotional beats. cinemetography is great and it avoids ruts of the genre.

Ted Lasso is coded as a midwest Christian white dude, but also totally loves abortion and affirming gay lifestyles. He's the liberal wet dream of the "good" Christian, the one without all icky parts. A lovable idiot. Safe. He'll offer no judgement but be the personification of milquetoast Christian platitudes. All forgiveness and no justice. A reverse caricature meant to give the viewer fuzzy feelings about themselves as they look in the mirror. If he existed in real life, everyone would despise him or ignore him. Which is one reason the show falls flat so often and ran out of steam, and why any morality learned from it will be shallow.
John Ʌ Konrad V@johnkonrad

“As modern progressives not going to church we have to do more to inculcated moral lessons in our kids,” Ryan Holiday “We watch Ted Lasso with our kids,” NYTimes science reporter “Yes!" 🥴🥴

Intelligent eh? Went to someone and paid them so you could feel better about yourself, leaving with some positive points. Next you're going to tell me your last prostitute said you were a good lover. "No, the claim is overstated and not accurate. Discharge after short-term therapy with "no problems" is common: Therapists routinely end treatment when a client shows sufficient improvement or no longer needs services. This aligns with ethical guidelines—therapy isn't meant to be indefinite, and many clients complete care in weeks to months. Intelligence testing during psychological evaluation is standard, not unheard of: Licensed psychologists frequently administer or recommend IQ/cognitive tests as part of mental health assessments, especially for differential diagnosis, strengths/weaknesses profiling, or ruling out issues like ADHD/learning disabilities. It's a core part of clinical psychology practice. Overall plausibility: A positive outcome (quick discharge + high-intellect feedback) can happen and doesn't require special circumstances. Top-percentile scores are rarer but verifiable via standardized tests. Therapy is indeed a business for many providers, but the specific combination described is far from "unheard of."

@shren_p @DeusDeadened @PositivFuturist Well I should be happy to have stirred so much interaction from such an intelligent person no? With the way you talk I doubt you understood how to voice what you went there for. Thing about going to therapy and finding no problems, means you didn't have the friends to talk to.

@ABrokeTrader @paddywampus11 @BODY_W0_WHORGAN Oh wonderful you've admitted to the practice of both and established that it was the way those in command, the elites of the people, took part in it. I appreciate that you've done the research now my assumptions have some grounding. Truth be told I was hoping that I had it wrong.

@GREEN_T00F @paddywampus11 @BODY_W0_WHORGAN Do some research. Cannibalism and inbeeeding was only common amongst the elite. The average person was not eating the victims of sacrifices or inbreeding. And we can’t pretend that inbreeding wasn’t prevalent amongst European royalty.

@MiguelRibeiroPT @Thorin Well then at least consider the idea that the rail you use to mow the hordes of the ignorant with your judgements works no different than asking of a hurdle. Unless your plan is just to flee from it all, you know calculating cowardice is a popular way to stress test sentience. 😶‍🌫️

I'm so bored of people endlessly repeating "there is no biological component to competing in video games so there are no genetic advantages." It's the woke religious dogma of esports. Not only is it not even vaguely true, as experience and observation show, but it's based simply on people's feelings and what they wish was the case.

@SqueezyVZ @navyhato Except for Roller Derby, there sexualization of women is freed from a standardization and fitness is offered to a vast range of body types for the sex less prone to working out. It's like a combat dancefloor, almost gladiatorial. Injury just makes it too scary to be popularized.

@Heyyesama That's the side he holds it on, and he doesn't open it to power up, instead he shows he's dead on that side. Makes sense to me and there's tons of stuff people have to put together on their own, like how armament haki is shown like that because the character is willing more ink.

@MiguelRibeiroPT @Thorin No I don't believe that's true it's my understanding that the well has been poisoned quite powerfully in terms of communication. Taking on the hurdle actually requires one to be sentient and sentience is optional in human life now more than ever. Please try to guide people to it.

People love to say “every religion has extremists.” Fine, I agree. Now let’s be honest. Point me to a Christian extremist group today that is openly killing in the name of Jesus, holding the Bible as justification, the same way some Muslim groups loudly claim Islam. Until then, we need stop forcing a comparison that doesn’t match reality.
