New School Initiative! We’re encouraging all students and staff to use the bins correctly. Every Friday, the class that best follows the guidelines will be awarded the GOLDEN BIN, with the Eco Warriors keeping a close eye on everyone’s efforts. Who will win this week? 🚮🏆

Congratulations to our Eco-Ambassadors who independently planned, prepared and delivered an incredible assembly this week. Their confidence was inspiring. If they’re not too busy saving the world, they could easily have careers as tv presenters! Blown away to say the least 💚

A big thank you to Emily from Bucks Recycling for taking the time to visit our school and engage in a Q&A session with our Eco council. It was wonderful to witness their curiosity as they asked numerous questions about ways to enhance our school environment.♻️🚯 #Recycling

Today's meeting centred on Waste. I read "Tidy" to the children, emphasising the importance of a tidy environment. Discussions highlighted the significance of tidiness in both our school and surroundings, fostering ideas on how to make our school cleaner. #Ecocouncil 🌏🚯

As part of our 11 before 11 promises. This year we are taking part in RSPB - The Big Schools' Birdwatch. Last year over 98,000 birds were counted and the most frequently seen species was...the blackbird! I wonder what the most frequently seen bird at Green Ridge will be! 🪶

New year, new lunchtime! Our "Lunch Box Swaps" display board is full of bright ideas for a more environmentally friendly packed lunch. Get involved! 🍏
