Behind the curtain, we had 8 people running the web streams, connecting with our remote captioning team, and preparing the switch to our Live Studio.

I need to get something off my chest: if you are a major organization who is now hosting virtual instead on in person events and posting them on YouTube you NEED to put actual captions on those videos (not merely use the automatic Craptions).

I am super excited about Hamilton coming to tv this Friday. But also terrified that it won’t have subtitles or that it’ll have subtitles but the songs won’t be subtitled. Because right now it’s legal to refuse to subtitle songs
