In Toronto, a young Jewish girl named Esther has been missing for over a week. To make matters worse, people have been ripping down posters about her disappearance, just like they did with the hostage posters after 10/7—one of the more appalling things I've ever seen in my life.

@DownGoesBrown Sean, you just don’t get it. Have you any idea how hard a GMs job is? It’s so hard that there are only 32 of them. You expect them to make any sort of decision about a coach they told to go home to? They need to run the numbers and check spreadsheets. SPREADSHEETS!!!

In fairness, GMs have lots of opportunities for roster moves in the playoffs, so finding 15 seconds to do the right thing like everyone else is going to be next to impossible.

@datadomNY He just completed one of the most epic, rookie seasons of all time with a grueling, compacted schedule as the young youngest player in the league. He wants to go home and see his family. Have beers with the boys and go chase girls around. And that’s what he should be doing.
