@cpchambe @darwintojesus I’ll give you an example. We can measure how fast something falls and we call it gravity. We don’t know how it works but if I were to question if it exists you would say that question is nonsense because it’s become a fundamental paradigm that simply can’t be challenged.

@GR_1066 @darwintojesus Yes, science uses a methodological framework where things are measure, quantified, and mathematical or physical models are built that predict outcomes, which can be tested. If it interacts with reality, we can test it. If it doesn’t, we can’t study it.

When you teach anything, it’s backed by a philosophy, a worldview. You can’t learn, think or teach without some kind of framework. Everything being taught to your children will be taught from one framework, one worldview, or another. So teaching is a form of preaching, it’s just more subtle. At least preachers understand and are open about what they’re doing. But the teachers that want to indoctrinate your children into their worldview and call it “education?” Not so much.

@cpchambe @darwintojesus It’s hard to explain. To a certain degree even things like physics are a philosophy. The way we have developed means to quantify and measure our reality are controlled through a set paradigm of measurement based on a primarily materialistic understanding.
